Creating a Mood Board

Since mood board will be a visual representation of your brand, here's a few things to consider before creating one:

  • Business inspirations

  • What message would you like your audience to perceive

  • Which role and emotion would you like to have on your contexts?

Mood boards contain variety of elements, most common are:

  • Images - These can include brand images, stock photography, product images, photos found on Instagram, Pinterest or other photo sharing sites.

  • Colors - Color psychology will make sense here. Choose color palette that represents your product or service. For example in my mood board, as a marketing strategist I included orange that represents creativity, black that represents sophistication, teal represents being trustworthiness and so on.
